On 15 August 2026, Team RvS Group BV will be at the start line of the Ironman in Kalmar, Sweden. The team, consisting of Ronald Van Santen, Lars van Santen, Roben Eikens, Rolan Eikens, and Jacob Bakker, will complete a full triathlon covering 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42.2 km of running.
With their participation, they are raising funds for the Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds. In their close environment, they have experienced how impactful a muscle disease can be. What is taken for granted by many people is not a given for thousands of people living with a muscle disease.
With this athletic achievement, the participants aim to contribute to more research and improved treatments for muscle diseases.
